Our Story
Southgate Village is a Family-owned 55+ Mobile Home & R.V. Community located 2 miles from the Atlantic ocean and centrally located in the heart of Vero Beach. Our families have owned the park for over 65 years and three generations. We have senior residents from all over the United States and Canada, enjoying an Active Senior Lifestyle, in our community.

Our residents own their mobile homes and pay a monthly lot rent. We have different rent prices for different lot sizes. Average lot rate is $850 and include lawn care, sewer-septic, garbage pick-up, and rights to all amenities. All new residents will need to complete a background check. Southgate has as a no pet policy.
Southgate Village has converted a number of mobile home lots into RV lots. We have added new concrete patio's, asphalt driveways, sewer, water, 50 amp electrical hook-ups, and landscaping. Southgate has a no pet policy

Amenities
Club House
The clubhouse is located in the center of the Community. It has one main room of approximately 2460 square feet with a capacity of 150 people. The clubhouse has a full kitchen and a stage. There are also bathrooms which serve the adjacent pool area along with the clubhouse. The clubhouse has central heating and air condition and is open day and night for the purpose of any recreational activities taking place in the Community.
Petanque Courts
The Community has four Petanque courts. Residents have leagues and fun games day and night.

Shuffleboard
The community has five newly refinished courts that see activity daily. Both ends of the courts are sheltered areas where the players can sit in the comfort of the shade.
Pool
The Community has one pool which is located immediately behind the clubhouse. The pool is approximately 20 X 40 ft.  with depths ranging between 3 to 6 feet. It is surrounded by a large brick paver deck area which is approximately 1700 sq. ft., for a capacity of 150 people. It is heated and has the capacity of approximately 60 people. The pool hours are from dawn to dusk.
